Been wanting a P38 for a while now. Could never find a decent one when I have cash and all the better ones would show up when I had no gun funds.
Picked up this Spreewerke a couple of days ago from Cabelas. Numbers match and the grips appear to be right . Unfortunately it is sporting a P1 magazine - have to find something a bit more correct.

Nice. I got one from J&G a few months ago. Unfortunately, the SNs on mine don't match, but it still shoots very well. Have you had a chance to shoot it yet?

Took it to the range. Sure felt like eastern front in middle of winter at 8F.
Function was flawless, POI a bit low.
So was mine. I wasn't sure, though, if it was me or the gun. I was having a hard time seeing any contrast between the blued sights and the black target. I am going to paint the front blade white before I take it out again.Originally Posted by vit
