FINALLY! Been driving a 2001 model year Tundra with the suicide rear doors since Dec. 20, 2000. Yeah, you read that right, just about 16 years. Frankly it still ran fine but, it was time. Replaced it with a model year 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4 door (crew cab) with a long bed, (6'-2"). These come with a 3.5L V-6 that puts out 278 hp and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. It also has a crap load of features that the Tundra from 2000 didn't have. Examples: a back up camera, in the dash video display for the camera, GPS, Blue Tooth sink capability with my cell phone. Also XM Radio capable, not planning on signing up though. Also has a built in compass feature that shows in the rear view mirror and between the Tachometer and the Analog Speedometer in a smaller video display. Phone activation on the wheel along with the ability to switch between radio and GPS on the wheel. Just a ton of tech that probably will break in time, but it sure is nice now.
