Best Magazines for the Yugo M70

I'm 1 more step closer to buying my M70. A big help would be to know which magazine fits best? Does a metal magazine fit better, or does the poly mag fit better?

    Thank you

These should accept most any com-bloc mag.
Genuine Bulgarian poly waffle mags are some of the best I've used.
The US made poly's are sometimes disappointing.
Of course, the yugo mags would be an ideal match.
They have a bolt hold open follower which is nice.

All said, there are slight variations between nationalities of mags.
    Some fit tight, some loose.
Take your rifle to a gunshow and ask a vendor if you can check fit with their
    AK mags.

Yep what he said. Don't worry about mag wobble. Some guys go nuts worrying about mag wobble. It's an AK, it's supposed to be loose. I would also say a loose mag is a quick changing mag. Tight mags are slower to get in as they require prefect alignment or binding could happen.

I like the Yugo bolt hold opens for the Yugo rifles. My favorite AK mags are either the Chinese (Not back spin to hurt hands) or the Bulgie Waffle (plastic is near silent and easy on the hands).

My Yugos work with every mag I own (steelies, polys and drums)...

Anything your heart desires basically....but your best bet are original Yugo bolt hold open (blued) or the polish blued mags both are probably the best made out there, bar none.

My M70AB2 has performed just fine with every type of mag that I have ever put in it...but I prefer the blue steel Yugo ones.

I use these in my SA-93. Although not a Yugo, they should work in anything so long as it is adapted for double stacker magazines. What I like about these is that they let the gun sit closer to the bench or the ground then a larger banana mag would. They look great with almost any AK and never once have any of mine failed to feed. I probably have at least 10 of these or so.

I think that they may be out of stock or hard to find now, however.
