Good to hear it! As a tip, if your bolt rifle can't be zeroed to shoot dead on at 50 yards, try taking a 6:00 hold. My 03 Rock Island Springfield shoots high enough I'm taking a 6:00 on the edge of the white paper.Originally Posted by Dieselbuilder

I had to skip June's match because of surgery.
I went out in the back yard yesterday and shot the Mosin truck gun to see if shooting is possible now.
Fired 5 rds. of 203 gr. Brown Bear SP and surprisingly, the recoil of the 16.5" is far less than the full length 91/30. Actually, it's a pleasure to shoot.
Anyhoo, I'll be shooting July's match.

Oh yeah. I'm good to go.
They operated on the right side of my face (cheek weld area) and after shooting a Mosin stomper yesterday, I'm ready.
Tomorrow will be a good day to shoot in the backyard. The noise will blend with the fireworks.

damn i suck
i have not shot a gun in years. i need to get out more often.
While you were at it I hope you shot the June and July targets. After all you have until the 15th of July to get your June target to me. ON, haven't shot in years, well that's one reason for these matches. It gives us all a reason to get out there and practice some skills and have fun with the old guns.

i shot a friends H&R sportsman .22 and my cz82
You should of drug out one of your many SKS rifles and shot the self loading class.
