    Parts ordered for Ruger 22/45.

I decided to do some work on my Ruger MKIII 22/45 when I get home from Afghanistan. This pistol was becoming one of my favorites, so I decided to order some parts to improve it a little. I ordered a Volquartzen trigger kit, a Majestic speed strip kit, and a Volquartzen MKII hammer bushing. This should improve my trigger, make it easier to disassemble/assemble for cleaning, and disable the magazine safety. Also ordered these from Esmeralda grips:

This is the pistol. Currently has Aimpoint Micro and Thompson Machine Poseidon suppressor.

If I had a dollar for every time CAPITALISM was blamed for problems caused by the GOVERNMENT, I'd be a fat filmmaker with a baseball cap.

12 string guitars only have 6 extra strings, but they're 85 TIMES as likely to be used in a song about wizards.

I like big 'bots and I cannot lie...
I got the model from Bandai.

I can't understand what you see in that pistol!

    Very nice.

Are those new grips spaulded maple?

Makes me want to get a supressor...

    Grips are Andean alder.

...and you need a suppressor. Or two. Or five.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy a .22 to play with at the range (I don't really count my NAA Mini as a range toy). This is a really fun pistol (and 100rds of subsonic CCI runs me less than eight bucks).
