Rick, good to see you around! You were missed!

Went to pay off my truck today. Turned out the banks are closed. Columbus day. I'll try again tomorrow while the girls are in class.

Kathy, Im very glad to see you taking the bull by the horns so to speak. I tried a different approach here, its hard here. The people here want what they voted in....socialist society.

My truck is now mine! It's paid off, my bank reflects it, and all I have to have now is the title without the bank's name on it! 2004 F-250 4x4, crewcab, with all the bells and whistles to include heated and air conditioned seats! Liz loves it because she can sit in the seat and hang her arm out the window. Erika loves it because she has legroom in the back seat. I love it because it gets better fuel economy than my F-150 and has more power. Oh! My mom loves it because the steps flip out automatically so she can step up to get in.

Congratulations 63D...Oh a truck with a coffee maker, now that would be heaven.

Rick, he is now a Cop and two more of my sons have joined the military. I think the local gun club dissed me. I went to join and they took the application and dismissed me at the meeting. They voted weeks ago and never called. Whaddaya think?

    Maybe I will look elsewhere.

That's what I thought when my brother-in-law brought it over when I told him I'd like to look at it. The first truck I had was a 63 Chevy 3/4 ton. No frills in that thing! This Ford even has a six CD changer with four channel sterio, six way adjustable seats, not including the reclining feature. Oh! My brother-in-law tossed in a 12V coffee maker and a plug in for the trailer electrical so I can make coffee on the tailgate.

    63D,
Same truck as when you were here?

I lost two coils so my 5 cylinder became a 3 cylinder. However, as it got me home it is a great vehicle..

Different truck. That was the 1/2 ton supercab 4x4. This is a 3/4 ton crewcab 4x4.

Is your engine a coil over plug? One coil for each sparkplug? I think Accell makes a aftermarket performance coil for that engine that is less expensive than the factory. The F-150 with the 5.4 liter uses the same system. My neighbor replaced his coils with some that his son had on his Honda. They seem to work pretty good.

Okay! I did it! I was eyeballing a Browning .22 autoloader for a while, and bought it. I haven't fired it yet, but it seems compete and clean. In fact, it looks like it was tried out and sold. I took it apart and didn't find any powder or grit in the thing. Of course, AWP throws a wrench into the pictures when he posts a link to someone mentioning a heavy barrel Browning autoloader project!

    I remembered a 1/2 ton..

Yep, one per plug. The problem is there isn't much is available in the aftermarket for mine.

I still have the 1/2 ton. It's my standby truck. The intent was to use the 3/4 ton for the tractor, but it gets better fuel economy than the 1/2 ton, and it's easier on Lil one's legs because of the legroom. Sooooo..... The 3/4 ton ended up being the primary.

You may want to check out the Accel coil. I noticed it was for a Honda, but it also fits the 5.4 liter Ford engines. It's possible it could be used on your car too. It's like the Ford '75-early 90s ignition spark amplifier; It was also used in the AMC cars and Jeeps.

Wow! Is support picking up. And............

My first debate was tonight! I kicked azz....

When I get the video if its not too embarrassing I will post it. If you heard about the Petit murders here in CT, the debate was in the town where it took place. I shocked myself with the response I gave. I could see the look on all my friends in attendance faces.

The best moments are the "lively" remarks Richard Abbate (scroll down) a long time military member and Veteran, running in an adjacent district against a reportedly corrupt long term incumbent answered a question about "slush funds". She is in the red to my left my opponent is to my right in the black. That exchange got really heated and we are all still pretty up in arms.

Then it was my turn. Not the best, this is the only video I have seen posted yet.
