You might not like what I am about to say, because there is a lot about the Kalashnikov and all it's variations that some people don't like, and for some reason they don't bother me, like the short fixed stock, or the inability to weld your cheek to a side folder.
That also goes for some sidemounts. While it might not look perfect with a scope off to the side by an eighth or a quarter or a half inch, at 100 yards I guarantee it won't make a difference.

That said, also take into account the parallax of the scope above the barrel and you get the picture, the true sight picture.
That said, check the mounts listed by O.S.O.K.
Enjoy your WASR, an ATF approved version of the rifle that Mr. Kalashnikov designed as a reliable homeland defense weapon that would shoot about an 8 inch group at 150 yards, and when you think about it's intended target, that works just fine.
