C&R license renewal question

my C&R expires on April 1st so i redid my C&R for the 4rd time on Feb 1st. well its coming close to April 1st and my check has not cleared yet. i called them this week to check up on whats going on with it. they got the go ahead to process the payment at the beginning of the month and waiting on the background check to come back.after talking to them they said that they would send me a letter so i can buy weapons for 6 months or until the background comes back.
has anyone ever had this problem?
every other time i usually get my renewal with in a month.
that would suck if it came back with problems.

Mine always takes two or three months to process. I never did understand that.

Maybe I should sharpen my crayons more often.

did you get the letter from the ATF saying you can buy C&r weapons for 6 months?

I got a letter @ 2 weeks after mine ran out.
About 3 weeks after the letter,I got a call from them.
Less then 24hrs. after the call I was being inspected.
Had ATF waiting in my driveway when I got home from work.
2 hours of going through my book and viewing every gun to check
serial numbers. They also checked my NYS pistol permit with my CnR
handguns to make sure they were listed.
Not fun,but I should be good for another 9 years.

i got my C&R today
pretty cool that they added a little one to put in your wallet.
i checked my checking account and the check still has not gone through but i got mu licensee?
maybe they said he is suck a good guy we will give this to him for free

I had a similar dealy when I was an 01 lincese holder in NC. They sent a letter of Continuance that let me keep buying and selling, but I had a 1 month gap with no license and no letter.

well i got my C&R on apr 1
i checked my account and they never cashed my check.

Ranger Who, just wondering if they ever cashed your check?

Mine renewal arrived and is due September 1st. I've had my C&R for 12 years but am comtemplating if I want to renew it or not.

my guess it's lost and they will cash it in around 2014 or so

i look at it this way if you guy one gun using your C&R you know you just saved on one transfer fee so it just paid for it's self
