    Medical supplies

For me, there's four types of kits:
    1. Light carry
    2. Car carry
    3. EMT carry
    4. Home

I know I'm missing something from my small kit.
    I have:
EpiPen, chest seal, suture kit, burn gel, cpr mask, Pulse Oximeter, Celox/quick clot, bandages, tourniquet, Scissors & tape.

    Any ideas?

Betadine for desinfection of skin surfaces and neosporine. Oh, pain killer like Ibuprofen or even Asparin. Sting Ease for insect bites / stings also Benedryl antihistomine to help with alergic reactions.

Looks more like a compact trauma kit then a first aid kit, but I guess that was your intention. I keep a first aid kit on my motorcycle, and some of the more often used things have been: bandaids, antibiotic ointment, Advil, benadryl, and cold-eeze lozenges, and a hemostat. Oh, and once I wrapped the ace bandage in my kit around my face to keep the rain off from riding home. My entire kit, (more then I listed) is in a nalgene bottle I keep in my saddlebag.

Be sure to change out the meds after they expire.

pulse-ox for a "small" kit?? id leave that to the bigger kits.

in addition to shutze's additions of disinfectant, pain reliever, and antihistamine, id add a small-ish bottle of saline solution for wound irrigation. possibly some tweezers/forceps for those human-nature interactions that may leave behind bark/splinters/thorns.

btw, the neosporin (or even a small vial of petrolium jelly/vasoline) is also good for removing ticks. something youll need to be knowing up your area, especially this year.

The epi pen and burn gel takes care of it all except desinfection.

Yeah, it's kinda tramatized, lol. Since it's small, i wanted to focus on major things that would cause death right away if not treated.

Irrigation, antihistamine, disinfectant, gloves & petrolium gel......... Understood.

Pulse-ox helps with weak pulse besides o2 if doing CPR.

With my budget I don't want to have to use something as expensive as an epi-pen if I don't have to. And aid kits do tend to get raided for little things, if ya have it with ya.
