    Marlin Model 60 Parts

I need a new magazing spring rod for my Marlin Model 60. I ordered one about 9 months ago from Brownells but the shipping date keeps getting moved. The rifle works well but the mag spring is not strong enough anymore to chamber the last round. Anyone have any ideas?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

ltorlo64, try contacting the people at Jack First Gunshop - 605-343-9544. They have a website and are similar to Numrich but you can't really see anything or order from it. Hope this helps!

Did you try contacting Marlin to see if they would sell you a mag spring?

Just called Jack First. Turns out that Marlin was sold to Remington and Remington is not producing repair parts for the older rifles, which mine qualifies as. I think I am going to try Shuetz's idea to get it working. If that works I will sell the rifle and replace it with a Remington or a Ruger, or maybe one of those Henry lever actions. Anyway, the first step is to repair this one so it will load all rounds from the magazine.

Have you tried Brownell's for a mag spring, also Numerich Arms a.k.a. Gun Parts Corp.?
