CBS 5 Story Inspires New Legislation To Ban ‘Bullet Button’

    May 20, 2012 10:00 PM

SACRAMENTO (CBS 5) – The debate over California’s strict gun control laws is about to heat up in Sacramento and it’s all because of what we reported a few weeks ago.

“When I saw the news I was absolutely horrified,” said State Senator Leland Yee, referring to a CBS5 report about the so-called bullet button.

Of course he was horrified. Stupid people are easily scared by big words like bullets and magazines and buttons. At least they didn't call the magazine an assault clip which would have made the button an assault button.

Its a good thing they haven't realized that the "low-capacity" M1 Garand and 1911 are legal in Kali, and they don't need no stinking bullet button.

How did the communists ever take over California? That was the last frontier in our nation.

Remember, as Yee says, there is no debate, assault rifles should not be in California. Of course, if there was debate, he may lose. Of course, if he read the Constitution and Bill of Rights, he would lose, which is why it is best to not have a debate.

A Bay Area lawmaker introduced a bill today to close a loophole in the state's assault weapons law allowing "bullet button" semi-automatic rifles that reload in an instant.

State Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, gutted and amended SB 249 to carry the legislation, and expects it will be considered by the Legislature next month.

commiefornia has had legislators for the last 40 plus years that are so anti-firearm the old Soviets would have loved them. Actually thinking about it, the Soviets actually did respect private ownership of firearms, that is why the SVD became the TIGR, to give sportsman a "military style rifle" that was different enough that in the lingo of George Bush the First, they didn't look evil.

Back to commiefornia, there are more than one or two firearm enthusiast as well as hunting enthusiasts that if they all got off their obviously dead butts, did some research and got out and voted these idiots out of office, they might find out that California is actually a state in The United States of America and there is a constitution protecting certain rights that they don't seem to know they have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
