Who told you to think? I don't give you enough information to think. You do what you're told, that's what you do.
I believe in God.
I believe that God created everything. That he is beyond all limits - time, space, etc. - beyond our current ability to comprehend.
As for Jesus... well, I am a doubting Thomas. The more I learn about the time that he was on earth, the more I doubt...
The way I look at this is that if you truely believe in God and speak to him (pray), then you are believing in and speaking to the ONE. If the Holy Trinity is the way it is, then it's still God.
I am only a human being and must go with what I can understand and unhypocritically believe in.
I just can't comprehend a God that would damn me to hell for this.
Now, having said this, I also think (this is not "believe") that we are a product of previous ancient visitations and manipulations by an alien culture. We are geneticly modified great apes. Again, I base this on the multitude of historical bits of evidence pointing to this reality. I do not regard these aliens as God. I regard them as tools of God. Like the very earth that we live on, they are part of the ONE.

You can strongly believe in God but not adhere to the dogma of ANY of the established religions.
I know quite a few people who are scientists who don't belong to any church or established religion who say unequivocally that they believe in God. The problems comes with the innate flaws that are introduced by 'very flawed' MEN into established religious institutions.
I know quite a few chemical engineers and astro physicists who say that Science does not prove that there is no God. In fact there is strong evidence that it proves the opposite. There is just TOO much miraculous and amazing stuff out there that can't be explained. The beauty and perfection of how carbon atoms can just be a string of atoms until one moment, when it becomes a life form. It takes an awareness of the beauty and mystery of the universe to come to such a conclusion. Of course we also get atheists as well. the thing about free will is that 10 men can look at the same thing and walk away with ten different conclusions.
God is not flawed, but MEN are. And much of the controversies about religion is that MEN are suspicious of anything written down or codified by other MEN.
That's just my analysis of it.
Q: After Cain slew Able, why did God have to put a mark on his forehead to show others not to kill him? There were only Adam, Eve, and Cain alive at the time. The third person born on earth, according to The Bible, was Seth. He would have been too young to avenge the death of his brother.
Answer: Men lived over 900 years at this time - Adam lived to 933 or so. Seth could easily have sought revenge but was kept from defiling himself with murder, however justified. Also, there were sisters to cain and Abel. Please read the two books of Adam and Eve, you will not regret it.
Q: Also, Cain went into a city. Where did that city come from and who inhabited it? No account of them being born or created is in Genesis.
A: The "city" was at the foot of the holy mountian where Adam, Eve, and Seth and the rest lived, and it wasn't a "city" like we have today - just a group of dwellings. Cain took his sister to wife and they procreated many wicked offspring and populated their own city at the foot of the holy mountain. No one who was not on the mountain could ascend it, and it was very hard but possible for those on it to descend to Cain and his people, never to return to the holy mountain.
Q: Noah took two of every animal into the Ark. Based on the total number of species of animals in the world, today, there is no way all those animals would have fit in the Ark.
A: Not every animal alive before the flood went into the ark, some were chosen by the almighty to end their species in the flood, such as dinosaurs, sabre tooth tigers, wooly mammoths, etc. Wich gives rise to something mentioned in the book of revelation I will touch upon later.
Q: And, how did all the animals in South America and North America get over to the Middle East to board the Ark?
A: Pangea. There was one supercontinent before the flood, and not only that if the almighty wants the animals to travel fast or far he can make them do so, he spoke the universe into being after all. Ever notice how all the continents look like they could fit together like a jigsaw puzzle? Now you know why.
Q: How did they get back to their current locations today? What happened to all the forests and plants? Land plants can't survive being under water for 40 days and nights. How did the species of plants get back to their current locations if Noah didn't transplant them?
A: My guess is with the animals in their feces and so on, in their fodder if they needed any but I imagine most all animals slept in the ark in a hibernation the almighty made pass over them. Also, many seeds have a very hard coating that can withstand temps and immersion for long periods. These would be floating along in the roaring waves that covered the entire earth.
Q: If the Flood covered the whole world to a depth greater than the tallest mountains, where did all that water go when the water levels went back to the current levels? There are not enough clouds, in the atmosphere, to account for the displacement of that amount of water.
A: Here ya go, better than I can explain and even comes with vids:

Now, I can formulate theories on some of these, but, as far as I know, the Bible is silent on these answers. Actually, if taken literally, none of these events would have been possible.
I just keep in mind that there are two dimensions in existance. One (the spiritual realm) encompasses the other (physical or our realm) yet goes unseen by the one encompassed. before the almighty spoke the physical universe into creation there was only the spiritual dimension. The spirits (Messiah, almighty, angels and the devil and his demons - but not dead humans as they are stored where they cannot see the world or interact with it) can see and hear everything we say and do, and always have. They are around us right now. And if we could see with our spiritual eyes like Adam and Eve could before the fall, we would see them and even as far away as heaven, there are no limits to how far you can see with your spiritual eyes unless constrained by the almighty or yourself. Also, I am guessing that those who do not believe would probably go insane upon realising the spiritual realm. I've heard and read many stories about people (mostly unbelievers) who had oob experiences and have never been the same since.
With questions such as yours you will do well to read the books of Adam and Eve as well as the book of Enoch. The book of Enoch picks up after the 2nd book of Adam and Eve, and tells the tale of angels leaving heaven, making themselves bodies (yes they can) and taking human females as wives to get children. These children became giants and almost wiped out man and beast. The almighty sent Enoch to testify to those angels what was judged upon them for their sin. Their judgement was so great that no other angels have done as they did, all angels saw and heard what was done to those angels and do not want to share their fate. Then the bible pretty muchs picks up from there.

Same here. The only thing I still bother thinking about is if there is a difference between personality and soul.

"The Books of Adam and Eve - Background
Note: These books are a transliteration of another language and subject to the ones doing the translating. We must pray for discernment as the books not included in the KJV Bible are read. We know the Shabbat is not on Sunday, and any book that says it is, realize that the word Shabbat was translated by the translator who put his own view of which day is the Shabbat.
The Second Book of Adam and Eve details the life and times from Cain and his twin Sister Luluwa when they went away to the time that Enoch was taken by God.
This book is considered by many scholars to be part of the "Pseudepigrapha".
The "Pseudepigrapha" is a collection of historical biblical works that are considered to be fiction. Because of that stigma, this book was not included in the compilation of the Holy Bible. This book is a written history of what happened in the days of Adam and Eve after they were cast out of the garden. Although considered to be Pseudepigrapha by some, it carries significant meaning and insight into events of that time. It is doubtful that these writings could have survived all the many centuries if there were no substance to them.
This book is simply a version of an account handed down by word of mouth, from generation to generation, linking the time that the first human life was created to the time when somebody finally decided to write it down. This particular version is the work of unknown Egyptians."

Remember, you don't have to believe, you just have to die.
ps
You get to find out what happened to Cain if you read the books of Adam and Eve.

"The only thing I still bother thinking about is if there is a difference between personality and soul."
Your soul is your breath, in essence your authority to be alive, given by the almighty. When you die your authority to be alive goes back to the one who gave it. Your personality is just that, your personality. My .02
The Ego or personality will die.
Yet, the essence of the self is almost pure love.
It survives. It loves truth, it seeks fairness, justice and
all noble things. The self is the same energy as God itself.
There is no way to ever be disconnected from the creator at the core.
However, the mind can run programs to defile one's viewpoint into
distortion and illusion, and create an apparent separation.
One can find God in anything.
The eye of a flea, the writings of Tagore,
the bloody sorrowful depths of war. It does not matter,
It's all the same experience in the end.
We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.
George Orwell
From what I've read, you know everything you ever have and have your personality intact on the other side. The difference is those of us who are forgiven will be there in perfect health and clean clothes, while those who are not will have the same diseases, wounds, etc and filthy rags they died in. I wouldn't be surprised to find everyone in heaven around the age of 33 rather than babies and old people along with all others but I digress. Then comes judgement where all accounts are settled..
"In whatsoever ways I shall find you, in them shall I judge you entirely cries the end of all things"

We know of Jesus Christ from the Bible (a man-written document). Jesus may have been a "real person", He may have been God in human form... who knows for sure?
As far as Jesus "saving sinners", is that real or is that a story?
Think about it... if you wanted to say that "someone" (God) loved you in the strongest terms possible, how would you say it?
For someone to give their life for you is pretty impressive... for someone to give their only SON'S life for you is the ultimate. ANY parent... modern or ancient... can relate to that.
God sending His Son to die for sinners may just be a story that means "God loves you SO much that He........"
God, being all powerful, certainly does not have to "sacrifice" anything. It also makes no sense to me that God made us in His image, then plans to punish us for it "unless we do X, Y and Z".
I just have to wonder... why does the universe exist at all? Did God get bored or what?
