Just got off the phone with my buddy. Here are the facts that I have

He and the shooter were childhood friends, but they had not spoken in 6 or so years, only facebook and email.

The shooters Father was a closet homosexual who died in the late 1980s of AIDS, the family tried to cover it up and call it leukemia

The shooter was molested sometime in junior highschool by some older boys

The shooter was described by my friend as brilliant but troubled. He enrolled in a college program while still in highschool that would have allowed him to graduate early from college but was kicked out

The shooter did eventually recieve a degree from somewhere, my buddy thinks Texas Tech

The shooter worked for awhile as a teacher for Bryan ISD but had some issues and was reported for innapropriate comments to other staff. At the time of the shooting he was no longer employed with BISD

At some point he attempted or did enlist in the Marine Corps but did not get in or finish boot camp.

These are the cold hard facts I have on him straight from a guy that knows him.

They just showed him on local news. That is his facebook page all right.

The news put up pics of what looked like an SVD, since it looks AK-ish and therefore must make him more scary that just a simple murderer, and a couple Mosins as part of his collection. They made a big deal out of his famous sniper "likes" too.

Of course they followed it with a 5 or 10 minute "exclusive" news editorial about some doctor that thinks we should treat firearms just like a virus(read quarantine/confiscate) and a teary eyed interview blurb from some guy that was at the bell tower shooting back in the sixties.

Gun control nuts to the rescue, right on queue.

Direct democracy is a gang rape. Eight men vote to rape one woman and the woman has to accept it because the majority decided that it was ok. A constitutional republic on the other hand is eight men and one woman with a full mag. Think about it for a while until it hurts your head.

Uh oh, his religious views are listed as "Christian."

Can't wait to see Pat Robertson spin this one. He's been blaming all these recent mass-shootings on "the rise of atheism" in this country.

I'm sure he'll just say "the debil possessed him and made him do it" or some other similar schtick.
