Musketeer Rapier with matching dagger!! This is much sweetness.
I have to say the legend of the Musketeer and the sex appeal of the period speaks out in these pieces. To bad I don't have $1400 sitting around.
The rapier.

Matching dagger. $340 bucks for a dagger!! Still sexy though.

Of course no bladesman of the period would be complete without his trusty hanger.

Never cared for the skinny blades. Can't lop off a zombie head with that thing.

If you're good, you won't have to. Right thro the ole orbital socket into the brain, then you pull your arm back and look for the next target. No worrying about recovering from a wild swing or putting too much power in it.

If I am not mistaken they have a decent false edge on them.

Usually the last 6-8 inches of the blade were razor sharp. The point was not to gut your opponent in a single blow, but to cut him to ribbons aiming for the soft tissue. Once a guy has a few tendons and muscles cut in his arm and legs, its hard for him to put up a defense.
