Anyone know much about this Ontario M9 Bayonet?

It is 420 modified stainless? What is modified stainless....also it appears it was based off the old Buckmaster.

Buck actually made the M9 bayonet at one time.

Not familiar with 420M but Buck used to use 425M steel "M means modified" and with their heat treat it was pretty good. Can't speak to how Ontario makes theirs.

I wonder if any of those old Bucks are still around. I checked out their website today...they have this knife I have wanted for sometime and would like to get.

i can't really tell you about the specifics. but it is a good all around knife. i have one in my collection and i think i paid 110 for mine so 93 is pretty fair. i know when you put a good edge on the bayo it holds it quiet well. and has got me out of a couple of hard spots since i've had it. i also have the U.S.M.C issued bayo. and that is a bad boy! it hold an edge from hell! and it also has a edge on the backside of the knife and serrated edge is wicked sharp!!

The Buck 119 Special is an iconic hunting blade. It's also really popular in the movies, Love mine.

I second the Buck 119. It rocks!
