Bubba snuck in this weekend and added increased night shooting abilities to my Mossberg 590.

Hi-Viz tactical fiber optic was 20 bucks. Its snaps on super tight and mates up to the bead. I like it because it doesn't replace the bead. Rail section is a little mag-pul rail I had laying around. I cut a relief on the inside of the handguard for the nut to sink into, and drilled three holes on the outside, one for the screw and two for the rail's mounting posts. I tightened the shit out of it and it feels rock solid. The rail looks like it is too far back, but in reality I had to had position the three holes evenly in the small space between the grip ribs and where the handguard tapers down at the front. Swapping the rail section with a cantilever type will push it forward to where it will look a little more "factory".

Nope is the 77. The 66 has a tube mag. The 77 takes detachable plastic magazines.

Yes the front sight is missing. When I got it, it was beaten up. A magazine was broken off in the well, the cocking handle was snapped off and the front sight broken off. I have replaced the cocking handle, dug out the bits of the old mag and bought two new ones. Havent gotten around to replacing the sight yet, I figure i will come across one someday. Its not my primary .22

I have fired it with a scope attached and it works well.

I like AK pistols and want one of these with the "arm brace".

Even without a stock or the "arm brace" I think an AK pistol shoots good enough for most people's front and back yards. I'm sure it would do good enough to run off a group of Obama's sons, or defend your car with during a zombie attack.
