This is typical language that banners use to try and give pro 2A folks a false sence of security. This is what some have termed the "2A but" croud. They're statements always start "I believe in the Second Amendment but. . ."He said his point in saying that was to address situations--like in Detroit--where people with AK-47s are mowing people down.

Has there been incidents where people were mowed down in Detroit with an AK 47? I have never heard of that happening? Of course what constitutes being mowed down one or 20?
