    Did some blasting today...

    All 7.62x39mm
VZ2008 - shoots well, the folding stock sucks. If I can't find a solid stock, it gets sold.
CZ527 - awesome, very accurate for caliber (shot Golden Tiger) but could use a scope - I got the rings and something compact around 4 power would fit nicely. Set trigger is neat.
Sig 556R - more awesome. I'm kind of glad I bought it with rail - this gives me a chance to get all "tacticool" with it - not something I would usually do. But something different than plain AK is nice to play with - the extra weight makes it very steady and comfortable to shoot. The Aimpoint PRO is very nice and I would not hesitate to get another one.

On the way there stopped at a gun show and ended up with a 9mm 1911... not really.
Star B, German marked, Russian capture.
Shoots like a champ, even my 11 year old son enjoyed it.

I actually like the folding stock better than the fixed one on the VZ2008 I have. Ditch that compensator, it wasn't designed for it, and crates some odd recoil. You're better off with just a muzzle nut.

Very nice group of weapons. I do especially like your Sig rifle. I see you also like the PRO,

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Nice shooters! If you want to get rid of the VZ let me know... I have a couple kits I never built put up from the days of $750 OOW receivers...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

CZ makes some excellent firearms. I love their handguns, but I have yet to shoot any of their rifles. The folks I know who do shoot the CZ rifles have never uttered an ill word about them.

Their rifles are a real bargain. I recently bought a new CZ-527 .22 Hornet. If you heard that a .22 Hornet was not accurate, you never had a CZ rifle in that caliber.

Nazi stamped M1911? Now that's weird. Gotta look that one up!

not really a 1911, Germany used alot of STAR guns in WW2.
IIRC Sarco carried these a few years back and they ran $400-600, one without all the import garbage on it will fetch even more $$$$.

    I might go shooting today.

^I know it isn't actually a Colt, I figured it was a 9mm 1911 clone. Correct me if I'm mistaken. I looked for these last night and instead came across the Norwegian Kongsberg Colt M1914. After the Nazi's invaded the pistols continued production and were even given the Nazi stampings of approval in 11.25mm (same as .45).
