    Remington 7.62x39 problems?

So I was gonna play with some soft points I'd bought for last hunting season and as I was loading the rounds into the mag I just kinda felt something was off with one of the rounds. So I stopped and looked it over. I shook it and felt a little extra weight shifting. So I twisted the bullet. It spins very easily and even moves back and fourth some when I pull out and push in. I figure shooting these will be... problematic. 2 rounds out of 20 did this:

    Thats awful.

Here is some Hornady SST 7.62x39 that would probably rock a deer's world:

    ^Looks good.

I went ahead and pulled the bullets and went out back to detonate the primers. Put the bullets back in the casings and used a vise to tighten the case neck around the bullet. I'll keep em as dummy rounds.

I would have called Rem. Told them of the problem and see if they wouldn't send me some free ammo.

^LOL! Free ammo from a couple of faulty rounds? Doubtful.

That box of rounds could have been part of a recall lot that didn't get returned... It's not like Remington to sell shoddy rounds.
