First thing I did when I bought mine was throw that trigger in the trash.

After today, it's all historical.
Replaced mine with an Arnold Jewell Varmint trigger. 1.5 to 3 lbs. range of pull and crisp as can be. The stock trigger is sitting in a drawer somewhere.

The auto industry does this too. Why do you think recalls often number millions of cars. They knew that there was a problem but didn't want to correct it because the see it as admitting they were putting out an unsafe product. RE Toyota and sticking gas peddals or Ford and the Pinto gas tank.
