1st anual Whiskey Tasting Federation awards.

This from the Whiskey Tasting Federation, or WTF? for short. As the founding member of WTF?, I'd like to give credit where credit is due. I nominate: High West Double Rye

Its not bad enough that they put out such a nasty tasting whiskey, oh no, they have the gall to gouge you on price to boot.
At $34 per 750ml, this may be the worst value in whiskey ever!

    Hey, High West.
    Returns June 3rd.

El Jefe...nice. I like it! I still gotta find some of the ODG 114, but don't award the blue ribbon in the value category until you've tried the Russell's Reserve.

A year or so ago I would have given the value award to Elijah Craig. But its price has steadily risen and is now pushing $30. I figure another 12 months of pressure will see it top $30.

    Oh hell yeah!

See, out here in fumbuc, I never see the EC-18 or anything from Blanton's.

Theres also a barrel proof Elijah Craig I'd love to try.
