I got my first Seiko as a graduation gift in 1978. Wore that one for close to 15 years. I've owned several more Seiko, a Citizen and a Bulova. Still wear the Bulova on occasion but I currently rotate between three Seikos, all kenetic, direct drive models and I doubt I will wear anything else. I just like the styles and the movements they use.

Timex.
A nice Seiko the company sent me when I retired, but the battery is dead.
Never wear a watch unless I have to be somewhere at a specific time.
Always tell people I threw my watch and my cell phone in the river when I retired!
I have an automatic Tissot I wear for dress. I used to have a nice watch collection but I had to reevaluate my priorities. Sold all my swiss automatics and just kept the Tissot for occasional wear.
Wouldn't mind getting a Sinn someday.

worn this one for 5 years, the last one 10 years; the band on it broke while inspecting a roof drain on a 10 story building and i never saw it again.
