    Question Pipes?

Been thinking about getting into this. Just don't know much about these.

A bit of a pain. I smoke one on and off again. Gotta clean it all the time or it tastes nasty. I usually stick with cigars for the ease of it. Granted... most people who hate the smell of a cig or cigar love the smell of a pipe.

    Pipe smoke smells good.

I like a dark Cavendish tobacco myself.

And much like cigars or cloves, you don't want to inhale the entire hit, or you'll mysteriously develop sea sickness on dry land!

    Enjoy!

Anyone ever try pipe tobacco in a cigar?

I smoke a pipe on occasion, learning to pack the bowl right and keep it burning without relighting is a bit of a trick.

I have had the best luck packing the bowl with a moderately tight pack, lighting, getting a good coal going and then tamping it with a pipe tool onces it fluffs up and then relighting and I'm good to go for the bowl

There are some pipe blends that contain cigar tobacco. I have been smoking cigars for years and only recently did I start smoking a pipe. Once you get your bowl pack technique down its a pleasure. Just don't go too fast. There tons of vids on you tube about how to..I prefer English blends. Heres some links.

Have rolled cigs with pipe tobacco, have smoked broken cigars and cigarette tobacco in the pipe, but never tried pipe tobacco in a cigar.
