He's done several TV gigs from parts of his life story to a campaign spot for obama in 08, I assume those got him noticed by some bleeding heart type in Hollywood.

I have met Igor in person and he seemed like a good guy.

Igor was having some major health problems and had little or no money. People on this site donated money to him and helped pay for a trip to Vegas.

Some one found a picture of him at an Obama rally and things got ugly.

Unlike many of us here his priorities were probably the following:

1. Health Care
2. Guns

So he backed the candidate he thought would provide him with health care first.

I actually wanted him to stay on the board, we have several members here who have opposing political views. I did think the way it was handled (on both sides) was stupid though, but this is the internet after all.

Basically the guy would cry poor me on the sight, get donations from gracious Gunsnet members. He would be seen with his family jet setting around the globe and hten was seen with Michele Obama in a shirt that read "World's Biggest Obama Fan". When confronted by Gunsnet members about it he basically told us to Fuck off and spoke about his love and need of free medical care at the Americans expense. Igor was then officially dismembered and dead to Gunsnet.

I remember that thread. Fastest crash and burn I've ever seen on a forum. No debate, no excuses, no attempt to justify. Just a big "fuck you" to gunsnet and it's members. (That's how I remember it anyway.)
