I know some of you guys bought these from Century in the past. I need some kind of idea what to expect as far as missing parts go.

A couple years ago I bought a 5 pack of U-Fix-um Mosin Nagant M44's for $125. This is what I received.
#1 - M44 1945 Minor crack in the tip of the forearm, major crack left side of stock forward of the wrist, front sight loose in base, Receiver and bolt match floorplate lined and force matched, butt plate mismatched.
#2 - M44 1945 Metal tip missing from front of handguard and minor scrapes, receiver and Butt plate match, floorplate lined and force matched, bolt mismatched.
#3 - M44 1946 Large dent in right side of stock forward of wrist, receiver and floorplate match, bolt and butt plate mismatched.
#4 - M44 1946 minor gouges on the right side of the stock, all numbers match but the bolt.
#5 - M44 1946, visually the worst looking of the lot with a dirty cruddy stock, several gouges both large and small, missing tang screw, however.....all matching numbers!
None of them included a cleaning rod.
Of course that was 5 years ago so things may be different now.

I was thinking of getting a Mosin 91/30 to modify.
I figured the u-fix-um would be a good, cheap route to take.
I was mostly concerned about the bolt missing.
Thanks for the reply.

For parts yes a great deal. But you will grow tired trying to fix them. At least that was my experience.
I am sitting in my angry chair!
Been years but the 91/30 U-fix-Ums I bought from Century, as I recall were missing front sights on 3 or 4 of the five, one had a shatter buttstock (part of it was missing so I couldn't just glue it up), a couple were missing upper handguards and one handguard was crushed. No other parts were missing. Most had worn and frosty bores but overall, for $20 a rifle I was happy.

Ordered a Hex 91/30 from AIM.
I figure if it's screwed up, I can swap it for another.

I think I will keep the hex as is when it gets here.
And take my camo'ed 91/30 and build on it.
