    Smile Back home.

Greetings guys. I have been without a computer for most of the summer. The laptop I had died. Now, I am back in warm Texas with my trusty desktop.

The latest.....SWMBO told me this morning she wanted to go to Cabela's. So, we hit the road. She wanted to go look at clothes and I headed to the used gun rack. Well, low and behold, on the rank was a Winchester M1917, on sale. The receiver, barrel, and bolt were W. Eddystone stock, nice used condition. When I got the rifle home the bore turned out to look as new. 490 bucks before taxes with sale price and military discount. I will try to get a photo up shortly. No other C&R guns have been purchased. Just not much out there unless you want to spend a lot of money. Spoiled by the past golden age of C&R. Oh, my black Friday purchase was a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Saraha, bright red all over. SWMBO suggested I get one as I am not getting any younger. I bought her a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys back in Feb. chris

Welcome back!!! Funny reading you are back in warm north Texas while this week my daughter moved from warm north Texas to cold, firearm hating Chicago. She was in Wichita Falls next to Sheppard.

I spend the summer at my summer home in the UP of MI. Had 2 inches of snow right before we left.

Welcome back. I hate for people to stay gone so long. I'd like to see this forum stay strong. Which reminds me, I need to re-up my contributor status.

I got rated 100 percent a year ago. Someone at the VA finally went back and looked at my service records and discovered I lost my air force AFSC because of hearing loss. Still working the agent orange claims though.

The first part is good. Don't understand the AO hold up tho, as long as you meet the criteria.
Good luck on that and enjoy the time you have.
