What are you picks for least manly dog?

IMHO the least manly dog would be any dog that can't chase down and kill a 185 lb whitetail deer.... or a chihuahua

    Every dog has a purpose.

The toys and minatures are good for pest control, as well as acting as an alert dog. Plus they use a lot less resources.

Unless you train your big dog to actually do something, they're nothing more than over sized miniatures in terms of capabilities vs resources required.

my brother in law has a chihuahua. It might be a tiny dog but it can hold its own. Ant the fact it humps everything it can get between its legs makes it good for a laugh. First time i saw it, it was screwing the arm of the couch.

Personally i would have shot the thing by now but it is definitely not a wimpy dog.

What it lacks in size, it makes up for in determination. "Runt" isn't part of its vocabulary.

It's still not a "manly" dog, though. Just because it has balls doesn't make it "manly"....look at Obama...

When my male put was younger he was around 35lbs of solid muscle with an attitude. He could take people's legs out pretty easy pulling on them.
I had a friend come around the side yard once instead of the front and next thing he knew my dog was on his chest really pissed off until he recognized it was his buddy. He isn't a typical pug though.

As far as least manly? Any kind of doodle.

My Mom has a teacup Yorkshire Terrier, about the size of a large mouse. While she barks are anything, she is also so small she is scared of everything. In mind, not much use except to keep my Mom company. Which is actually very important.

Yeah Jack Russells are way too hyper for me to put up with, but I never really considered them to be strictly a chick's dog.

Now that just ain't gonna look right next to some big burly brute on the seat of his 4x4 pick-em-up.

i'd say any dog can be manly, after all they are man's best friend and all have a purpose.

It's when women get hold of them and start carrying them in purses and putting pink bows on their heads that screws things up

Women should just stick to cats

Well yeah but for some that "purpose" is just to be a pet.

Shih Tzu's have been bred for many generations to be a companion animal.

Poodles rock. They go in water and are super intelligent.

Only downside is the cost of maintenance.

This image doesn't help your point. Wearing a Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Transgender flag tie doesn't say "manly".
