Declining wages and a worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza due to Israeli restrictions are causing despair among people there.

That's the latest message from the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) helping the Palestinian people in Gaza. In 2007 Israel imposed a blockade after Hamas took control of the area. Christopher Gunness, spokesman for UNRWA says worsening unemployment in Gaza, which is now at 45.5%, is causing people there to feel hopeless.

Israel took in ALL the Jews who went to Israel, even worked to help get them out of other countries.
