how can i fix the ejector on my 74, its not ejecting anymore

Wire welder, dremel tool and pin files. Sometimes you can brace the bottom of the ejector and from the top side use a small center punch and hammer to peen it out a bit. This will usually give it a little more length but is certainly not a permanent fix. Sounds like it wasn't hardened and has worn down.

Although I cant see it happening, are you sure it's the ejector and not the extractor spring. There could be some trash or case slivers lodged under the extractor that are interfering with it's ability to pivot.

i will check that out, i lined up my other 74 to it side by side and they are the same lenght, thanks JOJO.
