Hello everybody. I joined this board a couple weeks ago because I got a new wasr 10/63 and have been over on the romanian ak part but I saw their was an sks section too so I figured I'd come over here to share my sks-m that I've had for about six years or so now. It's a great shooter and a lot of fun too and so many people confuse it with for an ak with a thumbhole stock (guess they don't really take a look at the reviever/bolt??lol) Anyways here she is. Don't mind the pics, some were with the flash and some were without it. I'm not too good with the camera.

Oh and the best part is I got her from a guy I knew from work who was hard up for money(bad gambling problem) and I got her with a 55rnd mag, (2) 30 round mags a 5 rnd mag, 120rnds of ammo and the sling for $150!! Needless to say I jumped on that quick. She's definitely one of my favorites though too, I'm really glad I got the chance to take her in and give her a good home. lol

And on a side note does anybody know how old these are? I know they banned all the chinese ones like this one from import somewhere back in the 80's (I think) so I know it's gotta be at least from the 80's. Thanks for any info.

Nice rifle and thanks for sharing!!!

In my opinion one of the few with a bush-hole stock that actually looks pretty good!!!

Yeah it's not bad, I'd still prefer a normal stock though but since it's the original and these are kinda rare I'll leave it. It is very comfortable to shoot though surprisingly and the fore end is wide and flat like a target rifle stock so I'd imagine it would be sweet from a bag too.

Thanks, I took them with my wifes nikon D5000. It's a beast of a camera and I don't have any idea how to REALLY work it with the millions of adjustments you can make with it. I just set it to auto focus and auto on the dial and take pics. LOL She's the one that can work the camera really good. It still does REALLY nice work even just set on auto though.

Nice rifle, I always thoght those were the SKS rifles to own given the ability to use stock AK mags. It's a rare piece, congrats.

Yeah I really like the m and d models too with the ak mags. It definitely makes them more fun and a more practical shtf gun too. I also like the shorter barrel. Thanks for the compliments.
