It's no different than a Star Wars or Star Trek fan who develops an interest in and wants to learn more about actual space travel, what it would take, how its done (in today's world) and the likely science that might take us to the stars in the future. No one would argue Star Wars or Star Trek as a defense of why we need to continue space science, but fans of those fantasy genres might develop a greater appreciation of today's reality of space travel. It's an introduction from a shared fantasy to real world applications of a portion of that fantasy. It's how people with a love of a fantasy genre can be introduced into something real that's only peripherally (or incidentally) related to the fantasy world. And let's face it, GN is a better intro to guns than House of the Dead, Doom or any other video game that involves guns.

1 Zombie Thigh, cut from the bone and into bite sized pieces
5-6 cloves crushed garlic
3-4 Pureed Habanero peppers
1 tbs Cumin
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbs powdered Annatto seed
6 powdered allspice berries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp clove
1.5 tbs Ancho chili powder
1 tbs Guallio Chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 bunch of tarragon, to taste.
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup white vinegar
3 shots of Tequila


Combine all ingredients and let marinate overnight.
Line a baking pan with banana leaves and pour in the goodness, wrap leaves tightly over, and place lid on. Put in oven and set to 325*. let cook for 4 hours.

Pull out and enjoy the tender goodness that is Zombie Pibil*.
(You should do a test run with Pork shoulder/butt so you can adjust the level of spice to your liking).

It's easy man, and the smells alone are worth it. It seriously takes me maybe 10minutes to get everything going other than cutting up a Shoulder/butt/Thigh.
When I cook this particular meal, it smells like heaven all down the street. Hell, this is "The" meal that turned my wife back from the hell that is Vegetarianism. Fucking stupid ass eating Philosophy that shit was...

I grew up with people who can't cook for shit and that's no way to go through life, eating shit food and all. So I learned to cook my ass off early on, and I'm still young and learning. I have 2 full kitchen cabinets as well as a pull out spice rack just for my spices and chili's. I also keep a large stock of spices in storage for rough times, and grow as many seasoning herbs and chili's as I have room for. Good food can make a shitty situation a great one.
I'm telling ya, if you can't cook zombie is gonna taste like shit. probably like rotten Javelina. I figure as long as it's been freshly turned, and you cook it low and slow for the right amount of time it will be not only safe to eat, but delicious as well. Of course, I'm gonna let my dick head neighbor test it out first and make sure it's safe.


Oh yeah, Zombie threads are gay... It would be really shitty for about a week until you figured things out and readjusted, if you lived that is. Then it would be maybe 2-3 months tops of shooting enjoyment, then it just would get old as fuck to deal with all the time. That, and it's never gonna happen.
