Here's three fairly recent Bucks I've added to the collection.

Model 110 Wild Turkey #51 of 500

Model 110 Stag and Damascus

Folding Alpha Hunter

This Alpha Hunter is a little different in that it was made in the later part of 2010 but instead of the 154CM steel it has the 12C27M that Buck switched to in 2011. It also has the hex/octagon shaped lanyard hole on the right side like the TOPS/Buck CSAR-T-Avid. Haven't seen another one like it yet so even though I originally ordered it thinking it would have 154CM steel I'm not that disappointed after all.

A couple more that I ordered off Buck's latest Web Specials.

This 110 Hunter (top knife) is ATS-34 steel with partial serrated blade dating to 2004. The lower knife is a Vanguard 192 dated 2002, also with ATS-34 steel. Will try and get some better pics this weekend. Both are very nice in every regard and fairly collectible.

That 110 looks good, although I don't personally care for serrated knives.

Nor do I however, when I saw this one listed with the ATS-34 steel which I am particularly fond of I just couldn't resist. I have to say the serrations are extremely sharp. Had a fully serrated Spyderco Endura about 15 years ago that was a good knife but no where near as sharp as this one is. My intention was simply to add this one to my collection and not as a user but to be honest, now that I have it in hand I wish I'd have bought two before they sold out as this would make a pretty nice daily carry.

Picked these up on Saturday from a local gun store. Both are NOS (new old stock) and have been in their display case for decades.

The first is a Buck 311 Slim Trapper. These were made for Buck by Camilus from around 1970-1990. Not 100% sure on the beginning date but will check. This particular knife is the last variation and has nylon stops or pillows in the blade channels for the blades to rest on in the closed position. That feature was used from 1980 until the end of production in 1990 so she's at least 21 years old. Sadly, the box was either misplaced or given to someone else as the incorrect box for a previous purchase.

I'm a fan of the large Trapper pattern and compared to my Case models this one is quite slim and handy. Guess that's why Buck called it the "Slim Trapper".

This one is a Buck Crosslock River Rafter. Not sure on the dates for this one though I knwo it's been discontinured. Buck still makes a couple models of two blade Crosslock but this one being a warncliff type blade and fully serrated kind of caught my eye. Most of the Crosslock patterns were two bladed with only a few with a single either plain edge or partially serrated blade. This one did come with the box.

I've been told that Buck won the knife design of the year for this model back in 1994. Happy to add both to my collection.

O.S.O.K.

Not sure if "HUGE" is how I'd describe it but I do seem to have acquired more than my fair share over the last few years. Last time I counted just the boxes (most of my blades are locked up and I store the empty boxes on shelves) there were well over 100 but I was kind of guesstimating as I was just counting the fronts of boxes and some of the smaller ones are stacked/layered 2-3 deep.

I like that Buck 311. Reminds me of a Case knife.

My own interest in Buck knives has really increased lately. I've been thinking about picking this one up if I can work enough this month.

That Cocobolo 119 is also on my list to get. You can also find it with white bone, cherrywood and I believe stacked leather handle. The stacked leather is either a limited edition or past custom shoppe offering and not the easiest one to come across.
