Hello, this might seem like a dumb question, but it is my first post, so....

Is Federal Ballisticlean RHT the same as Federal Ballisticlean CQT? My closest indoor range requires frangible ammo, and a friend recommended the CQT. Any opinions?

Also, anyone know a good place to get 45ACP or 38SP? A Google search didn't turn up much.

Well, first of all :welcome: to the board!

I think that all of the ballisticlean stuff is compressed/cintered bullets, so it should fit the bill. But I'm not 100% on that.

And for the 45 and 38 ammo = what kind are you looking for?

Have you seen the sticky above with the list of places to shop? That's where I would check first -they are all "proven" suppliers.

Looking forward to more posts!

I know that the Ballisticlean CQT is a copper jacketed round where the core is made up of several zinc wires in a rope pattern. I have included a link below. I’m just wondering if the RHT is the same thing.

ALSO, I was hoping to find Ballisticlean CQT or RHT in 45 ACP, or 38 SPC. I just have not found a place to buy it.

Here you go: http://le.atk.com/general/federalproducts/pistol/ballisticleanrht.aspx

Yes, the RHT is confirmed as the same construction.

Looks like 45 ACP is a go, but not 38 Special - least not that I can find.
