I killed me a duck this afternoon along with a Monkey and a Tiger however they were on a string and attached them to the 100 yard target board so its not like they were free rangeing (or still in the store)

Thanks to the lame toys McDonalds has been putting in their Happy Meals, Abby has zero interest in them ... at least they make good targets :)

That Sig looks SWEET!

Too bad the Sig pistols seem to cost so much more than the Sig rifles.

I've owned a lot of different firearms over the last 30 years, AR's, AK's HK's, Daewoo's and AUG's and this is by far my favorite.

The only thing that kinda bugs me ... if I had waited about 3 years I could have saved quite a bit ... between the price coming down, the fishgill handguard and retainer ring, flash-hider ... and the sights I bought seperately... about $600-$700

Not anymore ... 556 Pistol listing on Gunbroker (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=239072092)with the 552 type handguards and swat flash-hider is $965

Is'nt there a rule somewhere that says you have to be at least this tall >< before you can get a sig in your happy meal? :cigarsmoking:

Aren't those super easy to SBR? I thought I remember reading somewhere that theres already a place to attach the stock.

Yep, SBR is really easy ... just take the plug out of the back of the receiver (the pistol uses the first generation 556 receivers) and screw in an AR buffer tube then and add the stock of your choice.

Mine has a Classic 556 lower with an original Swiss folder ... but you can also get one of the other 55x lowers, all will interchange except the 522; you can get an original Swiss and use the Swiss rock-in mags, or the 556 Classic for AR mags ... I've even put my 556R lower on one of my standard 556's and with a Gallil or Valmet mag it seems to feed fine but I haven't actually tried shooting it in that configuration yet ... they are kinda like Legos ... or AR's in that respect :)

I like my Sig.Thousands of rounds through it and not a problem.
Got a match trigger kit from Shootingsight and will try it out tomorrow.
