thats why i wouldnt float on any rivers anymore(well not commercially offered ones).my guys at work went last year and they were met at the canoe rental place by hiway patrol?water patrol and county sherrif depts. with a drug dog that sniffed everybodys bags prior to canoe rental..they were deployed all down the river scoping people out in various degrees of sneakiness.

It is most important we continue to devote significant law enforcement resources to arresting and imprisoning people for 2 joints or $1.35 of crack cocaine.
