This is almost local for me. I might have to drive down this weekend and take a closer look. Appears to be a long barrel 84S that got Bush1'd.

It looks like a weld bead... to hold the front sight on!

No it's a weld to hold the muzzle nut on the threads as flash hiders are all evil n shit!

looks like it was a flash hider they cut and had welded. or probably welded then cut. look at the end. almost like the start of flash slots.

Triangle 66...stamped 84s....looks like it was a safe decoration....$359 starting bid...local seller.....git yer ass in that car NOW boy!

That front sight looks like it still has the muzzel nut pin in it too. That alone is rare as hell on a busholed one.
