Sorry if this has already been asked.

This kid is very successful and making plenty of money on youtube via his ad fees - good on him!

It looks to me like this guy is in the USA.

I also wonder if he's really Russian... based on his accent.

So what's the verdict?

I knew he lived in the US by the water tower shown in one of his vids and other clues.

But is he "from" Russia?

That's the question.

ive heard before that he was in the us and was fake russian. idk if the accent is real or faked, but even if the accent is faked, with all of the hype he creates about being russian, i dont see why he would make that up.

so, without knowing any the facts, my guesses:

russia citizen? no
russian heritage? yes
russian accent? maybe

I dont know if he is a "real" Russian or not but his videos sure make me want to kick my school guidance counselor in the head. I wish I had a job like this!

Accent seems very questionable.
Not one slip of the mother tongue in there anywhere.
It all seems consistently phony.
I think I could pull it off better.

Why the T-shirt emphasis?
A real Ruskie would be wearing Budweiser T's eh?
Just seems a bit too overwrought.

Like the guns,, can't take that away.

Honestly, I dont know. I have seen a bunch of his videos and not one Russian word in any of them...If I could hear him speak Russian, I would know for sure...His accent is heavy and sounds like a couple of people I know that started speaking English while living in Brooklyn... :)

Not a Russian....Saw him on Youtube years ago before the accent.

...but from what I understand the Russian Embassy in interested in making him an honorary one. Putin thinks he's awesome.

According to Wiki:

Kyle "FPSRussia" Myers is an American internet personality known for his Youtube videos in which he impersonates a Russian dubbed by him "Dimitri" and fires various firearms.

If you listen each time he says "mag" or "magazine", sometimes the "a" is with a Russian accent, sometimes not.

Either way, fun video to watch.

His accent is terrible, I know for a fact I can do a better one.
