Picked up a couple new knives today!

I picked up a couple knives today at the gun and knife show. Probably could have saved a few bucks online, but I got to have em in my hand, and the prices weren't bad. The lesser of the two blades that I purchased was a Cold Steel Kobun in Aus8A. I wanted one a couple years ago, and it just happened to show up at the show. The nice knife is a Spyderco Paramilitary 2, (G10, S30V) The factory edge on the Kobun is... mediocre at best. Usable, but not razor sharp. The Paramilitary 2 is AWESOME. razor sharp, fully flat ground, deploys easily, and the locking system locks up SOLID. Its taking me a minute to get used to the locking mechanism, but I'll be used to it in a day or two.

Congrats. I remember wanting a CS Kobun/Tanto back in the early 80's but never got one. Think I'll take another look at one.

The Para 2 is awesome. While I like the Para just fine the Para 2 really is an improvement to the design. Congratulations again on two nice purchases.
