OK screw it! you just helped me decide which rifle I am gonna buy..the Ruger can wait and that is a beautiful rifle...Enjoy every round of it.

I could be wrong but the handguards and pistol grip look Polish and the butt stock looks standard Romanian that you see on most WASRs. None of which look refinished. Again, could be wrong.

its not original. the wasrs came with the cut off pg front handguard, not the nice correct palmswell hg like in the pic. and the grip is not what comes on the wasr either.

nice rifle. glad to see you didnt cover it with rails!

i restained and sanded the wood because it started out as a wasr10/63 gp was means it was came with that crappy black plastic furniture. loved the wood so i bought it off gunbroker for 40.00 for the complete set and refinished it.

looks great until you stick those rounds into the dirt !!! Try mounting mags both heads up and save your grit for battle .....

i have tried to mount them the other way--it doesnt work. they make mag covers so i think im going to get some of those.
