Is the following ammo reliable:
Yugoslavian Military 7.62x39 123gr
It seems to be about the lowest price in bulk.
Probably corrosive, right?

If not the best for the money, any suggestions?

It is corrosive, of that I'm sure. How it performs I can't say. I've actually got a 1000rd+ round case I've never opened, (bought it from AIM back maybe 10 years ago) so I've not shot any but I would expect it to be on par with most surplus 7.62x39 ammo.

I bought a case of it several years ago at a gunshow and have shot maybe half or more of it. I never had any problems with it, and aside from being corrosive, I don't recall ever hearing anything bad about this stuff.

Good stuff! The best 7.62 you can get besides Lapua. This ammo is a little hotter than Wolf, or S&B, good surplus military ammo.
Corrosive! Use proper cleaning methods.

Yugo M67 is some tasty good stuff, and far exceeds commercial Russki ammo. While it is corrosive, it is much "cleaner" than Wolf and other low end ammo. I use it exclusively in my AK and SKS, and both rifles shoot the nice M67 bullet better than other brands. Neither rifle has dissolved overnight, or exhibited any corrosion of damage as they were designed to shoot corrosive ammo. No laquer and poly jizz in the chamber is a plus, cause Yugo uses a brass case and dont need it.

I run a patch of baking soda laced water (1tsp soda per pint) down the bore at the range, following the last shot, then give it a shot of WD40. (Just keep a dasani bottle with the soda in it and the WD in your range bag). Clean as normal that night. No biggy. Been using that recipe for years on 54R, and it ejects a hell of a lot more corrosive crap than 39 does. (early '50s Bulgy is NASTY, but real accurate)

That M67 round will pound a hog, and knocks them down quicker than Oprah on a Baked Ham. Stock up while you can, this stuff won't be around forever....And at around 20 cents a round, it's the best value in 7.62x39 ammo, IMO.
