Wife had her LAST chemo treatment today. A little radiation, then hopefully it is over.

Chance encounter. Last Friday my BIL was staying local. Long story short. (can't give details). Hanging out at the pool. Met the HEAD guy that is in charge of Breast cancer research at THE hospital. Wife and him talked for close to a half hour. He agreed that she was getting the right treatment that she needed. WOW.

Free consultation from pretty much the number one guy. Chance encounter. BTW, I have his card. He told us to call if we had any other questions.

Gonna be a long week at work. Something about a golf tournament. Long days. Tired right now. RELIEVED!!

This has been a stressfull year. Church delivered dinner tonight. And the rest of the week. I have been blessed in more ways than I can count. I thank the Lord for every day that I have for my family.

Just about time for bed.

Excellent. I'm glad to hear she's doing well and you got a confirmation on the treatment.

I hate to admit that I have been tearful all day long.

The confirmation was like a Godsend. Long story short. I met the guy, his wife saw me in my chef whites and was asking my questions about dietary needs. another long story. My wife was gathering the children, and he asked me what was wrong with my wife. I told him. He extended his hand. Told me who he was. I started waving frantically to my wife. Get over here! At first she was a little put out at having to talk to someone and not take the children home. But her mood changed.

This guy was genuinely interested, and talked to her at length. Assured her that she was getting exactly the treatment that she needed.

Oh, and they had a bottle of wine sent to their room that night.
