Maybe not the highest quality or most sensible knife out there, but I just cant quit wanting to buy one. The cold steel xl espada /drool .

Cool Products and that's a cool knife for sure... but I always crack up at the tactical fat guy in black... he's like Dr. Phil's evil alter ego or something.

That one and the Rajah II are ones I've been considering over the years. They are IMHO, way too big for practical EDC but they are way cool.

Bought my first Cold Steel a few weeks ago, American Lawman and except for an uneven grind near the inboard tip which I re-profiled it's a well build and solid knife. I've no reason to suspect that the Espada wouldn't be as well.

My brother owns a Cold Steel Spartan. Thing has a WAY too fat blade and seems very impractical to me but eh hes a impractical guy.

I've owned quite a few Cold Steel knives since the 80s. Still using my two SRKs and Recon Tanto... They're pretty darned close to 20 years old now (19)!

Glad im not the only one :) . Was thinking id get a little bit of flack because its cold steel.

Oh yeah, you can find those new on ebay for 1/2 of the 500.00 msrp, still too much for me as I cant justify it yet but figured id just add that.
