Yes. If the debt was paid in full today we would be back in debt tomorrow.

The whole mess that we're in right now was caused mostly by over-valued markets and ponzi-like schemes. And yes, government overspending that's created a huge debt.

But what's making it even worse - compounding it, is the printing of trillions of dollars with nothing to support it.

This is a short run fix to floating our economy but it's supported only by the world's acceptance of the dollar as the reserve currency. The only thing holding this up is the lack of anything better to replace it (Lysander educated us on this earlier) and it will come crashing down when the world's economies begin to fail or we when we get to the point that we can't meet our debt obligations.

And we all know what obummer has been doing and what he's been asking for more of...
