what you see above is the closest thing us brits can have to a semi-auto that isn't in a .22 rimfire caliber. essentially it's a blowback 9mm AR15 however it's bolt locks back after each shot requireing a release lever to be depressed, sending the bolt forward so that the next shot can be fired.

At least it's something, that you can enjoy for a day at the range.

Agreed. Shows how innovative people can be too

Another avenue for gun lovers to drive where the politicians heighten their imagined safety by banning evil metal.

Kalifornia has many of these avenues.
Where there's a will, there's a way.

Can you hold the release lever down, or does it latch and require a cycle each time?

Of course, the CRIMINALS have working semi-autos if not full autos.......

You'd think society would have learned by now, but no: Politicians pass stupid law trying to ban something they don't like, people find way around law, cottage industry develops around said end-around. Rinse and repeat.

Can't have 5.56 nato?

Can't have 5.56 nato?

no. that would require a bolt with locking lugs and a gas block, the latter of which isn't allowed in this country.

No gas block, huh?

I wonder if you guys could do the same thing with 5.56 HK-style weapons since those are delayed blow-back and not gas operated.

Nevermind. Early morning brain fart. Forgot HK style weapons don't have a bolt hold open.

What do you have to do to obtain such a thing? Are you allowed to keep it in your home?

I saw one of these in a local store once. Interesting lil piece. I wonder if one has potential to be a accurate deer gun? I would think the lack of blowback would improve the accuracy, like a Yugo SKS with the gas valve closed.

Does it take single stack mag or double?

Well, it IS a Cali-legal model. :naughty:

Not entirely sure, but I think the magwell will take a standard mag. There was info posted on the old board about these - maybe the original poster will pop up.
