I've been thinking about it myself. What exactly are the benefits of patron over life?

well, basically any level above Life (Endowment, Patron or Benefactor) gives you voting rights in NRA elections, kudos at NRA events, and new frameable credentials and new pin, patch, sticker etc. sometimes they give you new and interesting NRA logo'd junk for free, like wall plaques or NRA duffels and such.

for some reason i wanna say that Benefactor level has something extra special added to it but i can't for the life of me remember.

oh, and a lighter wallet too!

Good deal!

Been considering going Life Member but I figure at age 51 it's cheaper now to just pay five years at a time $125, ($25 a year) then fork over $1000.

here's an example of the stuff they send ya. a cheap limited edition Bowie knife and a purportedly "real" mini ball from the war between the states with a couple of limited edition NRA coins.

it's nuthin really special but they take up space on the wall.

I'm an endowment life member.

They just sent me an offer to get to patron for $350... they do that from time to time...

I support the NRA - they are the only pro-gun org that gets it done. They are a force in DC.

Their record of accomplishments over the last 20 years has been stellar.

Been a Patron for some time.

Last time I donated for anything, I was sent a US Army Tribute knife.... Made in China!

I would feel kinda well, like I was cheating if I did the $350 route.... after all, isn't the whole idea to be supportive and for the "level" to show that you've been supportive?

I give $20, $30, $100 from time to time - depending on what's going on usually... and of course, what's going on with my bank account!
