Scored another Buck 110 of a For Sale Forum. It's my first 110 with 440c steel. If I did my homework correctly it's a Fifth Version, Variation three from 1972-74. Will post some pics when it arrives.

I've got 110's with 420HC and 425M steel but needed/wanted a 440c model so that niche is now filled. So many variations and versions that I doubt I'll ever get even a majority of them but trying is half the fun.

Awesome!

I love the Buck 110. Its as classic and iconic design as the 1870 SAA or 1911, IMO.

Where do you look for used Buck's, Richard? I've been tempted lately by the basic 110 they sell for $29 at Walmart, just for the hell of it.

Mostly the For Sale sections of the various knife forums, our own "For Sale" boards and of course ebay. I've looked at some of the gun auction sites too but haven't really found much with regards to the knives I like.

Auction sites like Proxybid and auctionzip are good ones too however, the internet buyers premium along with shipping and credit card fees can really add up fast on those sites.

My Shrade Uncle Henry looks like a 110.

Still have my grandfathers NIB Buck Cadet 303.
