ive noticed for a while that the top banner ads arent aligned correctly.

idk if anyone's aware of this, but, for me, at the top of every page there is the gunsnet logo, a random ad, and then some links.

on mine, the ads are shifted about an inch and a half to the right, so that where it says welcome username, and notifications, it is overlapped by the ad, so i cant click my username or my notifications tab.

I'm running Vista also.

Some sites are not set up for Firefox's browser. I've seen the same thing on these sites you're seeing now.
Pisses me off royally.

Another thing, your Firefox could be corrupted.
Download the latest version of Firefox, save it to your desk top.
Delete Firefox from your Programs, and reinstall Firefox.
I've had to do this once before. Worth a try.

i primarily use Firefox also but for shits and grins i just logged in with IE 8.0.6xxxx. it's still discombobulated up at the top where the ads are.

this is a Firefox screenshot but IE looks pretty much the same. if it was the CDNN ad or something opaque at the top i wouldn't be able to see the "notifications" or "settings" et all buttons.

i thought i was the only one. guess not.

what screen resolution? I'm running 1366x768.. if I lower it to 1024x768 or 800x600, it gets corrupted like yours.

EDIT: OR if I zoom in (using Firefox) to make the characters bigger, it gets messed up also. Make characters smaller. If that fixes it, then that is the problem.

ok, tried zooming out, and although it did work, but the time i got them seperated teh text on my screen was about 1/16" high and barely legible without leaning in close for me.

ok, in retrospect i guess posting a screen shot of it with the small letters would only serve to prove my point if your monitor was as small or smaller than mine. but never the less, the letters are pretty damn small.

right now, without zooming in or out, the letters on my screen are about the size of a 10 pt font in "real life". i wouldnt call that too large.

i'm running 1024x768. my top end is 1600x1200. the closest it will let me get to your suggested resolution is 1280x768 but that smashes it horizontally and doesn't fix the problem. if i go higher res things get separated but then i jump in the boat with Deth and my old eyes can't read anything.

changing the text size in my browser doesn't help either.

oh well, i guess if wanna be able to read i must let the top end continue to be a challenge.

oh I see what its doing... I made my firefox screen smaller (less wide) and what it does is wraps the menu and it ends up overwriting the links underneath it.
