I'm wanting to do a few SBR's but don't know the process.

I plan to SBR my PLR-16 pistol,and get a Draco pistol to SBR.I want to do the process myself.

What do I need to do?

What do I use to engrave the receivers after I get the stamps?

Go here to get the ATF forms you need:

The engraving is very specific, you can't hide it under a handguard, it has to be visible... letters have to be so high and the engraving so deep... I don't know the exacts, but I'm sure others will chime in.

Just something to think about....you'll have to get a Chief LEO in your area to sign off on the paperwork before you send it to the ATF.
Most "big city" types in Texas will not sign them, so you might want to make a call and see if they will sign for you.
