BDU size question

If a person wears military ADU pants size 34R, what size would they be in regular pant sizes (like 32 waist x 30 inseam). I would ask my son but they are going to be a gift for him and I don't want to spoil the surprise :) . I've looked on charts I found online although they tend to give a range like 32-36 instead of one specific size.

I'm 6'2" 200 lbs. I wear Medium/Long touser. 5'8" to 6' tall men of normal girth would be Medium/Regular.

If he's husky or a line backer type you'd go to the large sizes.

I'd say he's normal size (in pretty good shape so I'd say thin by today's standards :) ), about 5-9 in height. Do you think 32X30 would be a good fit?

I'm 5'9, 200lbs, and I wear 38x30. They're a little loose, but the 36x30 cut off circulation when I bend over.

im 5'10", have been around 195 for a long time wearing 32x32 recently i put some weight on to about 210-215 and im up to a 34x32 now. bdu sizes, i was, and still am, medium-regular. iirc, m/r goes from about 30" to 36" waist. not sure what the length is.

eta- might have been 32-36 as in the op. i know when i was wearing 32s i had both of the side cinches pulled all the way in.

You probably already know but in case you didn't the bdu's have little adjusting tabs on the side so the range fits the like 32 to 35. length is of course reg short and long.. I'm 5' 9 and always wore the med regular.. when I had a 32 in waist and now that I'm like 35.. or so... haha... hope this helps

I guess I'm asking what is the regular length, 32 inch?

If his waist size is more than 33''-34" and he is less than 5'-10-11" he is going to need large-short. Ask me how I know....:crying:

I don't think real BDU's are made large enough for me........... :)

Oh ok.. sorry I didn't understand.. I always wear 32 length in pants and the regular is the right length/ size for me.. hope this helps
