Big thanks to ATAK for this one!
I just got finished threading the muzzle of this SAR-1 a few minutes ago. Here are the results. Excuse the shitty camera, I'm away from home and away from a camera.

I'll probably swap the '74 style brake out for an AIMR flash hider at some point.

WJM's kit? What ever happened to him?
Nice work Funky. Good to see a SAR1 start to come back to the dark side!

That's something I need to do to my SAR-3 some day.

My friend who I helped get the SAR-3 last weekend is just waiting for the threaded front sight post to arrive.
Seriously, I wish I did this five years ago.

I also have a 5.45 alignment tool that works just fine on 5.56. Just reimburse my shipping to you and maybe throw in a little something, like a spare mag or what not.

The SAR3 barrel is too thin for 14mm, you'll either have to go 1/2-28 (AR thread), use a threaded FSB (OEM) or what I have a threaded adapter that slips over the muzzle (I'm leaving that for my son to do since I gave him my SAR3).

What did happen to WJM? He was from Tampa.
